 Chancellor outlines measures of financial aid for self-employed people

Self employed people are reported to be able to claim for income support, which is to be paid to them for upto 80% of their average 3 years taxable profits, upto £2,500 per month over 3 months. This is for people that earn upto a cap of £50,000 net profit averaged per year. For those that are less than 3 years, or even 1 years accounts – Rishi state’s they are open to the idea of averaging up or estimating what would be paid.


He went on to say that it isn’t an easy package for the government to logistically manage or release, and he stated that June is an estimated time for the 1st payments to be released.

“you haven’t been forgotten” were his finishing words.
